For warmer days, there’s a portable AC in the bedroom, along with ceiling fans and an extra portable fan to ensure your comfort. The soothing sound of waves enhances the tranquil atmosphere, offering a true Hawaiian experience. However, for light sleepers, the waves can feel a bit loud at night. This place was perfect for us! The condo was updated, easily accessible, clean and in a great location! AC was perfect after a long warm day. We loved sitting out on the patio every morning and night. It was a quick 4 minute drive to downtown. The host provided lots of great beach gear we used. Joy was also very responsive! We would definitely stay again!

Joy is a marvelous Airbnb hostess: informative, responsive, and thorough. Her unit is a gem: immaculate, well stocked and in a great location for exploring the Kona side of Hawaii and watching gorgeous daily sunsets. A special note about how the unit is stocked…all shelves are labeled for the items they hold and the unit holds everything you can need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Coffee and supplies, small appliances, a cooler for trips, Q-tips, laundry detergent and stain remover, all there and available for use! If you want a cozy rental in the Kona area, make this unit your first choice, unless, of course, we are already renting it. We would go back in a Kona minute.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Hawaiian Getaway! This condo was absolutely perfect for our trip to Hawaii! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. The view was stunning — waking up to the sound of the ocean and sipping coffee on the lanai felt like a dream. The location is ideal: close to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops, but still peaceful and quiet. The condo was stocked with everything we needed — beach chairs, towels, even a cooler for day trips. The kitchen had all the essentials, and we loved having the option to cook some meals at home. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and local recommendations that made our stay even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base in paradise. We’re already planning our next visit — highly, highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here! Would definitely recommend & would stay here again! Clear & easy check in/out instructions! The Airbnb had everything we needed we felt right at home! Very organized with labels! The bed was comfortable we slept great every night! Closet space was spacious! Had everything needed for a beach day! Great location on Ali’i drive!!! Amazing host with great communication!!! 😊 Grateful because I had a sunburn after a long day, thankfully there was aloe!

We had a great stay at Joy's place. Exactly what we were looking for, modern and very clean. Pretty central to all you want to do on the island. The view and sunsets were wonderful. We loved the lanai! Joy was very communicative. She made every step of our vacation easy. We would highly recommend her place.

Words won’t suffice for this place. I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs throughout the years and this was the best, even without the view. I can agree with some of the other reviews, I could have arrived without multiple things and this place had them all. The air con in the bedroom is nice and cold (you can adjust the temp to your liking) and also serves as a nice white noise. Everything in this place was SO clean and new, it looked like most things hadn’t even been used yet. Now for the view… I would have left a 5 star review let alone for the view. This location is amazing. We were with someone on this trip who has a rental here, and she said this was the nicest place she’d seen in the area. Every morning I sat on the porch and had such a nice view of the water. So many kitchen items, spices, etc (more than I’ve ever personally seen in an Airbnb). If I could give Joy and Allan’s place more than a 5 star rating, I would. And if I ever come back I’ll be staying here again. 100/10 for me!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo was just perfect. We instantly felt right at home. So close to all the activities, restaurants and shopping. The condo was well stocked with absolutely everything you could need. The beach gear was in great shape and allowed us to jump around to different spots to see the ocean. The pool is wonderful, quiet and warm. We visited the pool at the end of everyday. I highly recommend this property. We will be back!

Joy’s place is a beautifully centrally located place. We loved having breakfast from the lanai that overlooked the water every morning. We even saw dolphins at one point. The place was immaculate and very well stocked and even included equipment for the beach (snorkels, chairs, umbrellas). We highly recommend staying here to experience the local charm and falling asleep to the waves crashing against the shore.
