Our host Joy was truly a 'joy' to work with. Thorough and very clear instructions, prompt responses to my questions, proactive communications. With two dozen airbnb rentals under my belt, this was the best equipped kitchen I have had -- good selection of dishes and utensils, complimentary coffee, spices. Everything worked! [Shouldn't have to say this, but....] The bathrooms had extra toiletries if a guest had forgotten something; the bedrooms equipped with USB ports and charging cables. Plenty of seating; no HVAC but the main living area and each bedroom had their own portable unit. Wifi handled multiple devices for six people easily. Absolutely as advertised -- with extras thrown in.

Old Station is a perfect location, near great hiking and fishing. We usually camp, so staying at a house was luxurious and so much fun. The house was well stocked and bathroom had all the extras if you forgot anything. I highly recommend Joy’s home.

We appreciated how we felt at home and the attention to detail around the space. Everything we needed to make the stay convenient was provided. The host is very responsive and friendly. The area is amazing and the views breathtaking. We will definitely be returning!

We all loved Joys place. The hot tub was fabulous after a day of hiking. It was very clean and had everything you could want or need in a home. Beds were comfortable even the pull out couch!!Joy was quick in her responses to my questions.

Great stay and communicative host. Loved the attention to detail in the home, plus the place is very kid friendly with a pack-‘n-play, child seat for dining, etc. The place was clean, check in and check out was smootn, and the backyard was lots of fun. Plus close to Lassen, Burney Falls, and the lava tubes. We greatly enjoyed our stay here on our family vacation!

Joy’s tiny home was an absolutely wonderful experience! My fiancé, small dog, and I stayed for four nights and found the space to be exactly as described. We especially loved the outdoor area, particularly the soaking tub and fire-pit. Tucked away in the back corner of the park, the home felt wonderfully quiet and private. A delightful surprise was seeing deer and rabbits in the open field behind the house in the mornings. Inside, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the internet was blazing fast - perfect for my work Zoom calls. The projector screen was a unique touch and made movie nights fantastic. For local fun, definitely rent a pontoon boat from The Lodge across the street!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The backyard was the main attraction, with swimming in the pool. My family also enjoyed using the game room. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen and make use of everything that was there. A lot of little details added up to a great place to call home for a week.

This tiny home was everything we hoped for and more! The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and had such a calming, peaceful energy from the moment we arrived. One of the absolute highlights was the outdoor soak tub, what a treat! Relaxing under the open sky, surrounded by nature, was pure bliss. It felt like our own private spa retreat. The home itself was incredibly comfortable and surprisingly spacious for its size. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed. Our host was fantastic, communicative, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a wonderful experience for guests. We felt truly cared for.

This place was perfect for us! The condo was updated, easily accessible, clean and in a great location! AC was perfect after a long warm day. We loved sitting out on the patio every morning and night. It was a quick 4 minute drive to downtown. The host provided lots of great beach gear we used. Joy was also very responsive! We would definitely stay again!

Joy is a marvelous Airbnb hostess: informative, responsive, and thorough. Her unit is a gem: immaculate, well stocked and in a great location for exploring the Kona side of Hawaii and watching gorgeous daily sunsets. A special note about how the unit is stocked…all shelves are labeled for the items they hold and the unit holds everything you can need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Coffee and supplies, small appliances, a cooler for trips, Q-tips, laundry detergent and stain remover, all there and available for use! If you want a cozy rental in the Kona area, make this unit your first choice, unless, of course, we are already renting it. We would go back in a Kona minute.
